The Emerald Isle Immigration Center (EIIC) has a long history of helping new immigrants assimilate into their new communities while learning about the culture and history of the United States. Through USCIS’ Citizenship and Assimilation Grant Program, EIIC continues to teach lawful permanent residents about what it means to live and thrive in the United States today and the importance of understanding the country’s history.

Relief Fund Opportunity

The relief fund opportunity for restaurant workers by ROAR (Relief Opportunities for All Restaurants) and the Robin Hood Foundation it is a one-time grant of $500 for restaurant workers. It is on a first-come, first served basis and will be open until funds are exhausted.

Currently, the relief fund is open to residents of the Bronx and Queens until December 14. On December 14, the application will be opened up to all 5 boroughs. The application is available in English and Spanish. There are no questions regarding immigration status. They ask for verification through picture ID with address to ensure that the applicants live within the 5 boroughs. Applicants should have ALL of their information ready when filling out the application because they cannot save and return to complete the form.

ROAR (Oportunidades de ayuda para todos los restaurantes) y la Fundación Robin Hood ofrecen una oportunidad de fondos de ayuda para los trabajadores de restaurantes. Es una subvención única de $ 500 para los trabajadores de restaurantes. Se asigna por orden de llegada y estará abierto hasta que se agoten los fondos.
